I just joined this forum and thought some of you might also be interested. It seems to be very informative of all things BDSM. There are book reviews, blogs, and news articles as well as a forum and chat section. They also offer music and video sections, though I didn't see much listed. It IS after all a new site.

You're invited to be part of a new site, LifeKink (http://www.lifekink.com/),
created especially for the Kink community, with a focus on those who are
involved on a real-time basis.

Mr. Michael, the current host of the Louisville Munch, in Louisville,
Kentucky, whose online work can be seen at www.louisvillemunch.com, and Ms Constance, the founder of the Louisville Munch and its host for ten years,
as well as a nationally recognized educator and Leather titleholder, a
Pantheon of Leather nominee for Woman of the Year and most recently as part of Couple of the Year, have been working on a home online for those of us who are involved in the face-to-face BDSM, Kink and Leather community.

We've been members of the same sites you have and have had the same
complaints. Some sites seem to focus on those who aren't really involved in
the lifestyle, but appeal to those who have no interest in real time
relationships or community involvement. Other sites don't have any way to
find others near you, or those who share your interests. Some are simply
unusable in more ways than we can name.

We’ve been talking about this site for the last year and a half, talking
about the things we wanted most in an online Kink community, and how we
wanted a community site to function. After a lot of hard work, we're
finally ready to invite you to our new online home, LifeKink.

LifeKink uses powerful search options to allow you to find other users -
"Lifesters" - who are near you, or near any zip code you specify. You'll be
able to create clubs and events, and then promote those clubs and events to
people who are nearby, people who share specific interests with you. No
more random browsing hoping to find familiar faces, or distance-based
searches that seem to work sporadically or not at all. Want to create a
club for people interested in a specific activity or interest, like bondage,
and then find people in your area who share that interest? You can do it at
LifeKink. Would you like to talk to other Lifesters via instant message,
without having to go outside the site itself? You can do it at LifeKink.

You'll also have the ability to share and view photos, music and play lists,
browse or create a blog, visit our chat rooms or read and write articles or
reviews. You'll be able to choose your own url for your profile, your blog,
your club or your article.

We're still working on lots of improvements to the site, but we're ready to
have you join us. You'll also be able to easily invite your friends to join
us, too. We're excited about this, and we hope you are, too.
